11 January 2011 - It is with regret that I announce that according to the February 2010 report to Congress by the Director, Warfare Integration, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations both the USS Simon Lake (AS 33) and USS McKee (AS 41) have been designated for dismantling. That is all that I am aware of now but if I hear any updated informationn I will post it here at the USS McKee AS-41 website

06 January 2010 - I have seen several comments about image file sizes not being large enough for your pictures. Please read this update about uploading your pictures and their sizess.

Ken, I had no problem uploading my profile picture. Could you describe the problem you had plus any errors/messages you received?

The most likely problem is the image file size is over the limit of 5,000 KB. I have to set this limit so that I can allow photo galleries for each member. Besides, the profile picture is not intended to be a huge picture but more a thumbnail size.

Ray,

There seems to be a bug with uploading profile pictures. I realize you just got the site up, so no big deal, just wanted to give you an FYI.

(Are we going to be able to create polls?)
