11 January 2011 - It is with regret that I announce that according to the February 2010 report to Congress by the Director, Warfare Integration, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations both the USS Simon Lake (AS 33) and USS McKee (AS 41) have been designated for dismantling. That is all that I am aware of now but if I hear any updated informationn I will post it here at the USS McKee AS-41 website

06 January 2010 - I have seen several comments about image file sizes not being large enough for your pictures. Please read this update about uploading your pictures and their sizess.

Not sure what reunion you are referring too. But there wasn't one. We couldn't get enough people interested in helping, so it went by the wayside. Maybe someday we'll all get together.

Hi everyone!

If you are like me, you did not get notice of the Reunion that was held in August. I would have loved to attend. But, I did not get any notice from email or by phone. I have my phone number and webpage posted! How were the others contacted?
