11 January 2011 - It is with regret that I announce that according to the February 2010 report to Congress by the Director, Warfare Integration, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations both the USS Simon Lake (AS 33) and USS McKee (AS 41) have been designated for dismantling. That is all that I am aware of now but if I hear any updated informationn I will post it here at the USS McKee AS-41 website 06 January 2010 - I have seen several comments about image file sizes not being large enough for your pictures. Please read this update about uploading your pictures and their sizess. |

Worked in the R-9 Division in the engine shop yease January 1986-1988. Moved to Minnesota worked for a company selling sporting goods equipment worked there for 20 years until April 2010 when the owner sold the company. Started a new Job at a construction company just recently. Meet my husband Ron Saba on the Mckee and have been married for the past 21 years.
