11 January 2011 - It is with regret that I announce that according to the February 2010 report to Congress by the Director, Warfare Integration, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations both the USS Simon Lake (AS 33) and USS McKee (AS 41) have been designated for dismantling. That is all that I am aware of now but if I hear any updated informationn I will post it here at the USS McKee AS-41 website 06 January 2010 - I have seen several comments about image file sizes not being large enough for your pictures. Please read this update about uploading your pictures and their sizess. |
An Update About the Promised New Member's Feature Of A Personal Blog For All Crew Members

30 December 2009 - I apologize for taking so long to get this out to you. In my last posting I mentioned that I will be adding a personal blog for each crew member. Unfortunately the one I planned to install is no longer supported for the platform I have built the USS McKee AS-41 website on.
I have done a pretty thorough preliminary look for another system and so far no luck. I will, however, keep an eye out for a personal blog system because I feel this would be a really nice feature.
